Antique Mason's Improved Fruit Jar

Rare Antique aqua-colored Mason's Improved fruit jar, produced by the Consolidated Fruit Jar Company (CFJCo) in the 1870s-1880s. It features a distinctive monogram inside a stylized cross emblem and lettering embossed on the front. This jar features a ground lip or rim where the top edge was physically ground flat with an abrasive wheel after being glass blown in the mold, leaving a slightly rough, unpolished finish. Measures roughly 6" x 3.5". Pint size.
