Cedar roses are not actual flowers; they are the naturally detached, rose-shaped tips of female seed cones from the Deodar Cedar tree (Cedrus deodara).
Because these are 100% real, untreated forest products, you may notice small white, greyish, or crystallized patches tucked between the inner layers. This is simply the natural hardened cedar sap and resin that dried as the cones matured. It adds a beautiful, authentic woodland look to each piece.
