Mid-Century Vintage Pocket and Travel Mirror. This primitive grooming piece features a unique mixed-material construction, using a natural cork front frame and a classic rugged compressed hardboard (fiberboard) backing. It features a built-in hanging hole at the top, allowing it to be hung on a nail or hook for camp, travel, or locker use. 

Showing beautiful natural aging, honest wear, and frayed edges that give it incredible rustic character. The mirror glass displays beautiful, heavy, authentic "silvering failure" (mercury/silver oxidation and delamination). It creates ghost-like metallic splotches and dark speckling, giving it a highly desirable, dramatic antique patina. Please note: Due to age, it is best suited as a display piece or photo prop rather than a functional daily mirror.
