130 Piece Vintage Siam Thailand Bronzeware Brass & Buffalo Horn Flatware Set - Buddha Pattern
A large collection of Vintage Mid-Century Modern Siam (Thailand) Brass/Bronze Flatware featuring authentic dark buffalo horn handles. This set features 130 pieces, dining flatware pieces plus an array of rare master hosting and specialty serving tools. Each piece features the traditional embossed praying Buddha/ deity design on the brass endcaps and is stamped "THAILAND" on the reverse side. Manufactured during the 1950s-1960s.
Included in this set (130 Pieces):
- Dining Pieces: Multiple sizes of forks (dinner, salad, dessert, demitasse), spoons (tablespoons, teaspoons, demitasse, soup), and dinner/steak knives.
- Specialty Serving Pieces: Serving spoons, carving and serving forks, meat carving knife, master slicing knife, cake/pie server, curved cheese/butter knives, and a scalloped sugar/jelly spoon.
This set is being sold "as is" condition. Due to age, many pieces show oxidation, cloudiness, and typical green verdigris tarnish on the brass/bronze sections. Some pieces have lost significant portions of their dark buffalo horn inlay. The organic horn material has chipped, cracked or peeled away, exposing the flat metal tang and the tiny internal rivet holes underneath. There are visible spots of dark rust and green copper tarnish.
This set is perfect for mid-century modern enthusiasts, vintage collectors, or anyone willing to invest a little elbow grease into a beautiful restoration project.
